La Costa Youth Organization (LCYO) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) sports league providing baseball and softball programs for boys and girls, ages 5 - 14, in the greater La Costa area. We also offer our Champions program for players with physical and mental ailments ages 4 - 21! We strive to create the best experience possible through our advanced coaching, modern equipment, and tireless 100% volunteer staff. Enjoy one of the finest activities for boys and girls in the North County! The number one rule at LCYO is to "Have Fun!"
Dear LCYO Families,
Spring ball is on its way for the 2019 season for baseball, softball and Champions!
The number one rule of LCYO baseball is to “HAVE FUN!” Our 100% volunteers league, including the Board of Directors, coaches and team parents work hard to continue making LCYO a positive experience for our players and families.
LCYO is planning other activities for our families and community. These events enable us to raise money for the league as well as provide an opportunity to relax and have some fun. A few of the key activities include:
Champions Division: In case you’re not familiar with our Champions division, it’s a league for players 5-6 with mental/physical ailments and enables them a chance to play America’s sport! Come by and watch one of the games on Saturdays at Stagecoach after 3pm, starting March 17th!
This spring season we’ll continue to partner with local baseball services and training facilities to provide FREE (on-field & off-field) player clinics, coach clinics and more! We’re also working with our local sporting goods retailer (Dick’s Sporting Goods) to secure additional discounts as you saw from the last few weeks. Go to LCYO.ORG for more details!!
It’s an honor to be representing LCYO and creating a positive impact to our beautiful community. Let’s make it fun and positive for the kids, stress-free for our parents and easier on our dedicated volunteers. LCYO is one of the best youth sports leagues in America because of our families – that’s YOU!
